Catch the Memory of a Life Time ~ Take a Kid Fishing!

My Passion for fishing and love of the outdoors has inspired me to do taxidermy as well as create wood sculptures of fish. I specialize in fresh or salt water fish in natural skin mounts or fiberglass reproductions from a kid's first bluegill up to a trophy marlin. I have mounted world record class fish for individuals as well as fish for educational uses and local businesses.

All of my fish are custom painted one at a time for each client based upon a picture of the catch if available and special attention is given to unique colorations and anatomical accuracy. I utilize the latest techniques in the professional taxidermy field so that I can provide the best possible mount.

Wood fish sculptures are masterfully carved with an emphasis on recreating Mother Nature's finest work. These sculptures are custom carved from Basswood or Jelutong and are typically displayed in a natural setting or on a decorative base. Unpainted (natural finish) pieces are made from cedar or cherry wood. Please call for more information.

So, whether it’s that trophy of a lifetime or a decoration for your den or office a fiberglass reproduction will preserve that memory while preserving the resource through catch and release.

Things To Do Things Not To Do
• Keep your fish alive as long as possible. • Gut the fish!
• Take a picture of your fish • Put panfish in a wire basket while fishing because it will cut the fins.
• Or keep your fish on ice until you can freeze it. • Drag a dead fish on a stringer all day.
• When freezing wrap the fish in a wet towel then place in a plastic bag. • Leave the fish in the hot sun.
• Freeze your fish straight and protect the tail from damage. • Wrap the fish in newspaper or tin foil.
