well guys ive relented to the pressure of spring and cleaned out the car stored the buckets and hung the sled
i tried willing, praying, cajoleing, and it still has not stopped the onslaught of thinning ice. got a call from my good friend joel at cedar and he said the ice is unsafe. ive also been told by the big dawg to give it up.time to get the other buckets and rods out should be powerlining for salmon and trout by the weekend look out fishes here we come. been a slice made some good freinds and had some good times but its over for me ill see you on the ice next year!

hey denny, i went to cedar for a little bit yesterday and the ice was at least 10inches out from the beach but man...you had to watch where u were walking i stepped in a soft spot and my foot went in up to ankle there was alot of spider holes out there but we did good ... we were out for about an hour and a half and caught probably forty fish i kept twenty for the fryer i too iam putting my gear away today see.ya

Sadly to say, I got the call on Sunday. :(

Good news though. I told my 17ft girl that she will be getting wet soon! :D

Duck, it has indeed been a great hard water season but I'm ready for a change of scenery. Another week or so and we'll be slaying them coho's & browns while we ease into the perch season, see you at the secret spot 8)~ !
